Winter is Here
Now in its 10th year, the Syrian conflict has created the largest displacement crisis of our time. Winter is the most challenging time of the year for Syria’s internally displaced, as the low temperatures make all their daily struggles, even more challenging. Many internally displaced families are residing in tents, not built to survive the harsh weather conditions that come with winter.
Since the conflict began a staggering 167 civilians, including 77 children lost their life to winter. For families who are lucky enough to live in homes, the lack of insulation and power for heating makes living conditions extremely difficult.
Without safe shelter, basic food, heating, warm clothes, or clean water, they face a real possibility of becoming fatally ill or freezing to death.
Please donate today to help us make a difference inside Syria.
- For just £125, you can provide a family with a winter kit that includes four blankets, four mattresses, and a tent-protecting tarpaulin.
- A donation of £75 can supply 120 litres of fuel to a family, ensuring they have the fuel needed to stay warm for a month.
