Our trained media staff have the trust of the communities they work with. This gives us the unique ability to give voice to the Syrian people in the hardest-hit areas – allowing them to tell their own stories.
Spreading the news
Our media team produce and disseminate high-quality, multimedia materials in English, Arabic and Turkish. These feed into our own media channels as well as providing content for international media agencies and partners. Our communication works are guided by humanitarian standards and the “do no harm” principles, as well as by internal and external policies.

Enhancing the ways we work
Beneficiaries of aid are encouraged to provide honest feedback to help us continually improve our performance. We are highly respected for the way we gain feedback on the effectiveness of our aid efforts.
(MEAL)
This reputation is due to the concerted efforts of the dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team. Trained in protection-sensitive, age-appropriate interview skills, our MEAL team is gender balanced, guaranteeing access to both male and female beneficiaries.
Developing software
Our Information Management Unit works on developing in-house software applications to support our programmes’ implementation and to showcase our data through up-to-date visual analysis.
