Ofcom reject allegations against the BBC re “Saving Syria’s Children”

Wednesday, September 23, 2015
Media regulator Ofcom has ruled in favour of the BBC in a case they raised against a TV channel who claimed that the 2013 documentary “Saving Syria’s Children” contained fabricated information. Saving Syria’s Children was filmed in our hospitals in Syria in 2013. Over the past two years, baseless allegations of “fabricated information” have been raised against the BBC and Hand in Hand for Syria regarding the documentary.

We are pleased with the outcome of the investigation and thank the BBC for their support.
