Over 16 million people across Syria are in urgent need of humanitarian aid to survive. Years of conflict, economic collapse, and climate change have left millions without access to essential medical services, clean water, food, shelter, and protection (UNOCHA).
Syria is now facing one of its worst water crises in decades. Two-thirds of the country’s water facilities have been severely damaged or destroyed, and some irrigation systems have been lost almost entirely—up to 95 % destruction in certain areas. Water towers, pumping stations, and sewage treatment plants are in ruins, leaving entire communities dependent on unsafe and unreliable water sources.
💧 Your support can help bring clean water and hope to Syrian families in desperate need.

In displacement camps nationwide, the situation is even more dire. More than 590 camps lack any connection to a water network, and a further 269 camps do not receive sufficient water for basic needs (SRCG). Rural communities often resort to digging wells up to 70 meters deep, while drought and low rainfall have caused many traditional water sources to dry up.
As the scorching summer intensifies, families across Syria face a life-or-death struggle for safe water. You can make a difference today:
£1.35 provides 220 liters of clean water—enough for one family.
£30 fills a 5,000-liter water tank, supplying dozens of people.
